Adoption Application Information

 

• Mid-Florida Retriever Rescue, Inc. reserves the right to refuse to adopt to any applicant.
   
• Please do not apply to adopt if you are not serious about adopting a Retriever now. You must be willing to travel to Lakeland or Orlando, Florida, to meet potential Retrievers available for adoption.
   
• Once your application has been submitted, you will be asked to donate a non-refundable $25.00 application fee which will be applied toward your adoption fee, once approved, to cover the costs of processing your application and the required home visit. Your application will not be processed unless this fee is paid, via PayPal, Money Order or Cashier's Check.
   
•  After the application has been reviewed you will be contacted by phone and / or email by a volunteer nearest you. They will discuss your history with Retrievers and your expectations of the potential adopted Retriever. If this is your first Retriever, they will give you a good idea of what to expect.
